The Production Team

Our production team is led by Andy Bobrow (MA New School), an award-winning writer, producer, and director of video, audio, and interactive multimedia programs who has created more than 200 programs in the fields of technology, science, education, medicine, business, and politics.  For the past 25 years, Andy has been the Executive Producer and Creative Director for BioMedia, a media company with an extensive involvement in medical education.  A member of the faculty of the Graduate Media Studies Program at the New School University, Andy has also authored numerous articles on production techniques and technology, as well as interviews with renowned directors and cinematographers.

Carla Nordstrom (MPS New School, MS Bank Street College of Education), co-producer and education consultant, was a classroom teacher for 20 years. During her career at the New York City Department of Education, Carla has served as a new teacher mentor, math coach, technology trainer, and Project Director for a Teaching American History Grant. Carla is currently an education coordinator and workshop leader for the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, The New York Historical Society, The Gotham Center at City University, and the New York City Department of Education.

Bruce Novich has been a producer and director/cameraman for corporate, broadcast, and documentary projects for more than 25 years. Since beginning his career as a producer at Burson Marsteller Public Relations, Bruce has worked on projects as diverse as Sesame Street, The VIEW, and The Main Ingredient with Bobby Flay, Handmade by Design, as well as network sports and event programming. His insight and experience brings the eye and ear necessary to tell the story while keeping production on schedule on time and on budget.

Rachel Liebling is an award-winning producer/director specializing in arts and cultural productions. She has served as producer, director, writer, and editor on numerous independent films, web-based digital media projects, and for broadcast networks including PBS, AMC, The History Channel and HBO. Her acclaimed feature documentary, High Lonesome – The Story of Bluegrass Music, was released theatrically, broadcast nationally, and won six festival awards. Rachel has expertise in all aspects of film and video production, including story development, scripting, budgeting, directing, shooting, editing and post-production.
